Throughput Measurements

The current trend in active device over-the-air (OTA) testing is to characterize the system performance via data throughput. With Bluetest measurement software the throughput can be measured at either IP or MAC layer in a fast, repeatable, and convenient way.

Bluetest supports several different channel models like NIST, and the isotropic models based on UMi and UMa (UMi-IS & UMa-IS). The NIST model is inherent to the Reverberation Test System while the UMa-IS and UMi-IS models are created by connecting an external channel emulator between the communication tester and the Reverberation Test System.
